Established in 2023, Ramco Pipetech Holdings Limited (RPHL) is the holding group for Ramco Norway A/S, Ramco Pipetech Limited, and Ramco Pipe Care Limited. Operating across the UK and Norway, the group’s services encompass OCTG pipe management and specialist cleaning services to the energy and industrial sectors both on and offshore.

RPHL’s subsidiary company, Ramco Norway, has been delivering pipecare excellence for more than 40 years with highly specialised processing plants in Stavanger, Hammerfest, Florø and Sandnessjøen.

Founded in the energy capital of Europe, Ramco Pipe Care Limited delivers industry-leading operations across the tubular services sector from its base in Aberdeen.

Pipetech has been providing expert pipe and process integrity solutions to the offshore industry for 20 years. Pipetech has bases in Aberdeenshire, Norwich, UK, and Sandnes, Norway.

Russel Davies

CEO

Russel joined Ramco as CEO in November 2017, where he is responsible for setting the strategic direction and overall management of the company as it continues to deliver Pipe Care Excellence and Total Tubular Management solutions to existing markets and expands into new regions. 

Russel has over 40 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry during which time he has held various positions from subsea pipeline engineer through to CEO, underpinned as a Chartered Engineer.  Between 2008 and 2017 Russel served as CEO of Dominion Gas and led the business through its successful sale to Praxair Inc. Prior to this Russel spent 15 years with ExxonMobil as subsea engineer, Offshore Installation Manager and ultimately Project Manager.

Stephen Dempster

CFO

Stephen Dempster was named Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the RAMCO Group in August 2018, managing the financial strategy and operations of the company. Stephen is committed to maximising long-term shareholder value, ensuring a balanced portfolio of growth, whilst maintaining the values of the RAMCO Group.

Following qualification as a Chartered Accountant, Stephen has over 20 years of experience building and leading finance teams across various industries, with significant operating scale and complexity. Prior to joining RAMCO, Stephen was CFO at Darcy Technologies, and was a key part of the successful transaction with Halliburton acquiring Darcy in 2016.  Stephen remained in the role until full integration into the Halliburton group was completed in 2018.

Stephen is a highly driven, entrepreneurial CFO and a valued member of the RAMCO Group board of Directors.
